Penis Enlargement: Is It a Myth?

Before we get started on this article, I’m going to be very blunt. There is no proven medical process or miracle pill that will make your penis grow 4 inches, although you never know what they’re going to come out on the market with next. We all want to have larger penises, because we feel like it makes us a better man. Regardless of how big your penis happens to be right now; odds are you’ll want to extend it at least an inch or two – it’s only natural. We’re somewhat obsessed with our penises as men, and that’s why penile enlargement surgeries/medicines are always going to be in high demand. You could always decide to go the surgical route, but just how successful would that be?

Penis Enlargement

Our penises are somewhat of a big deal, it feels like the bigger our penises are, the better our lives will be. Our sexual partners will be much happier with what we’ve got to offer them, and we’re somehow going to make a lot more money. The truth of the matter is we take a lot of time to think about our penis size, but never really think about how to be using them. All in all, penis enlargement is possible; it just happens to depend on the person you’re asking.

How Is It Done?

There are a lot of pills out there that will claim to improve the size of your penis, and I suppose it’s a matter of trial and error. The amount of different products out there that that should add an inch or two is immense, and that means not all of them are going to work. If you feel like your penis isn’t as large as it should be, there are a few things that you can do that will work (guaranteed). If you happen to be a man that is overweight, losing that excess fat is going to make your penis appear larger. The penis isn’t going to extend any longer than it originally was, but more of the shaft will be visible (and therefore, will be able to take part in sexual intercourse!).

Sometimes all you need is a great diet and the perfect workout regime, but others turn to liposuction of the pubic area. It can work, but if you aren’t determined enough, you’re just going to gain all of that weight back anyways.

Pumped Up

There’s also something called a “penis pump”, and it’s become rather popular – although I would say that it isn’t as popular as it used to be several years ago.
The penis pump is simple, and it works like this:

  • You put your penis into a vacuum seal, which is the “storage chamber”
  • The vacuum effect occurs when the cylinder storage chamber starts sucking out air
  • This process causes your penis to “plump up” with extra blood
  • It will not only make it erect, but it will also make it look larger
  • The effects will last as long as the blood is kept inside of your penis

Some of the drawbacks behind the penis pump would be the fact that it only works about 20 or 30 minutes at a time – and in some cases, it could cause some pretty serious tissue damage (if you aren’t careful with the pump itself).

Pills, Supplements and Creams!

There are tons of creams and pills that will say they can extend the size of your penis; there is even a technique known as “Stretching”. The stretching technique is an odd one, and I won’t spend too much time on it – it’s pretty much attaching a weighted device to your penis, and wearing it for hours upon hours on a daily basis. It takes a lot of dedication, and it’s a pretty dramatic choice for anybody whom is suffering from a “lack of size”.

None of these creams and pills work, and they never will. There’s no miracle cream or supplement that’s going to turn your penis into something wondrous – just accept the fact that you’re an average human being and move on! You’ll just be sinking endless amounts of money into the penile enlargement market if you truly believe any of these products work, and we want to avoid that.

Surgery

Yes, you can get penis enlargement surgery. It turns out that a lot of people that go through with it, aren’t exactly satisfied with the results. The AUA (American Urologic Association) has even stated that these kinds of procedures aren’t exactly safe, and should probably be considered ineffective by definition. Sometimes, however, a man will suffer from a rare case in which the scrotum is attached to the penis high up on the shaft. This means the penis itself is going to look much shorter than it actually is.

There’s a relatively new surgery available that can detach the scrotum from the penis shaft, and reveal more of the shaft itself in the process – it only takes 20 minutes and can even be done through an “outpatient” technique. There are a lot of side effects that come along with true penis enlargement procedures, such as severe scarring and even deformed genitals. The end result may be a penis that is not only incredibly uneven, but just down-right hideous; I’m sure you would rather have a smaller penis, as opposed to one that looks like it fell into a wood-chipper.

In the End: Don’t Be Afraid of Average

Penises are a very touchy topic, but so are breasts and vaginas. We all have something that we would like to perfect on our bodies, but being average is completely fine. In many cases, the person who is seeking to make their penis larger doesn’t actually need it. The average penis size for a person would hover around 5 to 6 inches erect, with a thickness and width that would be around 4 to 5 inches.

More

Be happy with what you were given at birth, and just enjoy the time you have on this planet! Penis enlargement surgery isn’t worth it (for most people), and pills/creams don’t work at all – the best medicine is the one in which you cope.
